Victoria Smurfit
Victoria Smurfit was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1974. She is a part of the richest family in Ireland, but she had to work hard to make a career for herself in acting. She has been in such films and television series as The Run of the Country, The Last Great Wilderness, "Berkeley Square", The Beach, "Ballykissangel", Bulletproof Monk and About A Boy. She currently stars in Lynda La Plante's "Trial and Retribution" as DCI Roisin Connor. For a full list of roles and credits, go here. She married Douglas Baxter in July 2000. On 2 November 2004 she gave birth to her first child with husband Doug, a daughter, Evie Dorothy Baxter in Dublin, Ireland. Victoria is reportedly pregnant with a second child, due May 2007.
